‘Firsts Never Stop’ was a two-day long adventure race sponsored by Under Armour and Samsung, produced by dotdotdash. I was hired to produce the final dinner, the reward at the end of two long days of high-intensity physical activities. The concept was to do activities for the first time, which carried over into an experimental meal crafted by Gregory Gourdet of Departure and Top Chef. I worked closely with him to ensure the correct plate and flatware for each course to showcase his unique dishes. Working within the aesthetic of the Skyline Tavern, I curated an elegant rustic dining setting for the athletes. Complete with double plant hangers I made on location, and foliage gathered from the surrounding area for decoration.
