This was the second time around working with Samsung on behalf of Dot Dot Dash to Art Direct the media release event for their best selling phone, the Galaxy Note 10.
There were back to back events, first at SFAI Fort Mason Building in San Fransisco, then the second a few days later in the Chelsea District of New York. I took completely blank spaces and turned them into co-working spaces to emulate an environment where you would find a modern-day Millenial using the phone.
Media such as CNET, The Verge, Buzzfeed, Engadget, Business Insider, and influential You Tubers were invited. They use these spaces to revel the phones and then be the backdrop to create content within. This was accompanied by three different studio-lit photo zones to capture more controlled content in, stocked with different props to utilize as wanted. Throughout the event, we received compliments on how stylish and easy the spaces were to use and the variety of propping provided.
